Current Games / September 2016

Well, Rimworld and Factorio are now both on steam and awesome.
Both improved far beyond what I thought would be happening.

I am a bit tired of Hearts of Iron 4 though. Besides that, I had a look at Europa Universalis 4 again and I have to say: Meh.

As for Stellaris I am waiting for version 1.3

People don't seem very hyped about my Deus Ex: Human Revolution though. Of course I play it until I beat it. :)

As for now, I have three series to end:
Rimworld - about 100 episodes.
Factorio - about 100 episodes
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - no idea

Comment on what you want to see, I take suggestions. You more or less know what kind of games I like.

Stellaris

Hello guys,

so in less than three weeks Stellaris will come out and I want to make several let's plays about it.

One will be a multiplayer with my very good friend Thirdian where I play as humans. We have that all figured out and it will be a co-op game, because we both don't like competing with each other and all that.

The question is: What kind of species will I play for my single player campaign?

I am not sure about any of this.

It will either be a molluscoid profile picture and more in the direction of war and conquest. That would be a nice contrast to the nice humans I intend to play in my MP campaign.

Another picture I really like are the foxes in the mammalian picture there. Left bottom.

I really, really like cat's and would like to have the cat dudes in the top middle.

There are too many choices.

Another option would go for randomising everything and just go with it. I mean, you can't really choose your gender and species either, right?

Secret Hitler

So I wanted to play Secret Hitler with my friends but just having paper cards and such wasn't going to cut it.
I decided to do it right.

So I made a little wooden box, cut out the cardboard for the facist and liberal papers (for the facist ones you need two because there are three of them. For the liberal and facist policies I used cardboard as well because I didn't want to cut my magic cards in half I used for the party membership, secret identity, Ja and Nein cards. Also the background didn't line up and meh.
It has been all in one more than ten work hours but this was the first time I did this, also painting the damn box took a long time.
I went with black because Hitler.

Hello friends, I will go full english in this little blogish thing as well.
As you may or may not know my youtube channel switched to english uhm, two years ago (I think).

Hopefully that will bring some more attention to this blog, or not. This is mostly just a little excercise I do for myself. That's also the reason for me not doing this as often as I should.

Nevertheless: The plans for my channel go more into the direction of 24/7 4X (If you understand this, you are a nerd and possibly need treatment) which means I will cover Master of Orion with all its patches and also play more 4x games again like Star Ruler 2.
On the other hand I will of course continue playing stuff like Factorio and Rimworld because that is stuff I love.

I debated if I want to try a facecam thingy and I am still convinced that most people using a facecam are morons, but does the facecam make them morons or are they just morons with a facecam? Or do I just think they are morons because they are using a facecam? I am not done with thinking about it yet but I don't think my ugly face will improve my videos :)
